It is the year 2029: Astronaut Leo Davidson (Mark Wahlberg) boards a pod cruiser on a Space Station for a "routine" reconnaissance mission. But an abrupt detour through a space time wormhole lands him on a strange planet where talking apes rule over the human race. With the help of a sympathetic chimpanzee activist named Ari (Helena Bonham-Carter) and a small band of human rebels, Leo leads the effort to evade the advancing Gorilla Army led by General Thade (Tim Roth) and his most trusted warrior Attar (Michael Clarke Duncan). Now the race is on to reach a sacred temple within the planet's Forbidden Zone to discover the shocking secrets of mankind's past - and the key to its future.

An astronaut brings home a glowing green orb for his daughter. However, the orb kills him and corners the girl for his purposes. Claiming to the embodiment of all evil, the malevolent sphere, known as the Locnar, terrorizes the little girl by showing a series of bizarre and fantastic tales in which he has influenced. The first is "Harry Canyon," a cynical taxi driver in a squalid futuristic New York who finds himself involved with a damsel in distress who is relentlessly pursued by murderous thugs who desire the Locnar her archaeologist father found. The second is "Den" which chronicles the adventures of a nerdish boy who is thrown into the fantasy world of Neverwhere where he is transformed into a studly naked muscle-man desired by beautiful women who must get involved in a conflict revolving around possession of the Locnar. The third is "Captain Stern" where the title character is a handsome but irredeemable scoundrel who stands accused in a trial that Locnar throws into chaos. The fourth is "B-17" where a World War II bomber plane limps home after a bombing run only to have the Locnar ram into it and revive the dead crew-members as murderous zombies. The next is "So Beautiful, So Dangerous" where a boxum secretary at the Pentagon is abducted by stoned alien wastrels and a oversexed robot. The final story is "Tarrna", where the Locnar has to come to a future Earth and changes a peaceful people into a horde of murderous barbarians who rampage with genocidal zeal. Only the last Tarackian, a silent swords- woman known as Tarrna, can avenge the victims and stop the Locnar.

Andy McGee met his future wife Vicky while they were earning money by participating in an experiment in which they were given a dose of a chemical called LOT-6, while they were in college. Andy and Vicky went on to get married and they now have a 9-year-old daughter named Charlene "Charlie" McGee, who has the ability to start fires at will a result of the experiment that Andy and Vicky participated in. The experiment also gave Andy the ability to make people do what he wants. A secret government department known as "The Shop" did the experiment, and now the Shop, run by Doctor Joseph Wanless, has been pursuing Andy and Charlie, even killing Vicky in order to get her out of the way. Wanless and his organization want to study Andy and Charlie, then kill them, and the Shop has sent a sniper named John Rainbird to find Andy and Charlie. What Wanless and his group underestimate is what Andy and Charlie are willing to do to protect each other.

Zero-X, a manned exploration mission crashes during lift-off on its maiden flight. Two years later an investigative committee finally concludes sabotage, and decides to call on the services of International Rescue to oversee security at the impending second launch. The second Zero-X successfully reaches its destination, but encounters unexpected hazards, ultimately leading to another call for assistance on its return to Earth. International Rescue respond, and once again Thunderbirds are GO!

Nada, a down-on-his-luck construction worker, discovers a pair of special sunglasses. Wearing them, he is able to see the world as it really is: people being bombarded by media and government with messages like "Stay Asleep", "No Imagination", "Submit to Authority". Even scarier is that he is able to see that some usually normal- looking people are in fact ugly aliens in charge of the massive campaign to keep humans subdued.

In the near future, Earth is dying. A new colony on Mars could be humanity's only hope. When their equipment suffers life-threatening damage and the crew must depend on one another for survival on the hostile surface of Mars, their doubts, fears and questions about God, man's destiny and the nature of the universe become defining elements in their fates. In this alien environment they must come face to face with their most human selves.

Dr. Russell Marvin heads up Operation Skyhook, which is tasked with sending rockets into the upper atmosphere to probe for future space flights. Unfortunately, all the rockets are somehow disappearing. During the final rocket launching, a UFO lands and the military shoots at it, triggering the destruction of the installation and a cryptic warning from the aliens. In response, Marvin and his colleagues develop an anti-magnetic beam weapon to disable the flying discs. The weapon and the mettle of the populace of Washington, DC are soon put to the test.

They must fight off evil and all to get the stargate back into its "locked" position and save the earth from the deadly bomb which is going to be sent through the stargate by the evil leader...
